Big Oklahoma Pig Sticker off the bench

It comes in at 12 3/4" total with a 7 1/4" blade @ 3/16" stock thickness, handle is 5 1/2" from front of bolster. 14oz on our kitchen scale, not sure how accurate it is. Sanded handle to 600g then lightly buffed on loose wheel with pink compound this Kirinite stays grippy even when polished and wet. The blade has a sharpened swedge and was clay quenched and has a differential heat treatment hamon is sanded out on this one but its there. Should be one tough dude ready for some pig sticking!

If for a real pig sticker I would keep the blade straight back to the guard. That way it comes back out easy with out hanging up.

Oh its for a real pig sticker as its one of my favorite types of hunting, well more so when I was younger but still fun none the less. Also not the 1st one of these made or tryed they go in like melting through hot butter and come out just the same, no experiminting here tried and ture. I will say however I use to make them with a clean plunge cut on the swedge and while it worked on the hog just fine it did howere hange up on the sheath putting it back in, not a good thing while trying to deal with the dogs etc. Thanks for the input, that aspect of the knife can be cusomizes as all others, that's the good thing about having one made just like you want.
