You bettcha, Ken! I have a Kelly Kettle and two large vacuum bottles here in my stash...I have a few smaller ones, too. It's fun (and wise) to practice cooking this way; and, you're certainly correct about this technique having a place in our preps.

I heard of it as haybox cooking. Seems like it would be easy enough to rig something up at home with blankets and a cooler.
