Glad you had fun! Charge you phone before you leave for your next adventure, okay?

Here's some minor advice for Wyatt. Tell him not to extend the ground foot print beyond the sides of the tent. Stop a couple of inches short of the edge all the way around. With the edges extended past the tent walls any condensation or rain will run down the outside of the tent, be caught by the foot print and puddle beneath the tent. He could wake up with everything wet on the inside. Stopping a few inches short of the the outside perimeter allows run off to escape away from the tent keeping him dry(er).

    Definitely good stuff!!!

First day was set up and gear reviews, fishing, and a campfire chili cook off. the second day, they all made omelets in a bag for breakfast, did a nature hike to identify some different plants, had a BB gun safety class, more fishing and a hike then tear down camp and clean up.

Omelets in a bag! Those are a big hit in camp. First one up boils the water. Have everything already chopped up at home and let everyone mix their bag and mark it before hand.

We toast some bread to put the omelets on. Everybody loves them!

Our cub scouts never go camping. Of course, since my son's father is a scout master, then he has been going camping with the boys scouts since before he was 8. Incidentally, he gets his Arrow of Light on Tuesday.

Looks like you had a great time. He will remember it for a long time......unless you take him on a whole lot more campouts.

Great job! I know my two cub scouts love to go camping. It's a great way to spend time with them away from all the distractions.
