My cheap rechargable flashlight

Got this a couple months back, Figured I would do a mini review.


It is a surefire knock off , called ultrafire XML-T6
Model of LED: CREE XM-L T6 LED
Internal wiring applies the high efficient booster circuit, working voltage is wide and can utilize the batteries in the largest extent
Waterproofing design
Aluminum alloy casing
Aluminum alloy reflector
switches-tail cap on and off (Press heavily to turn on/off the flashlight)
3 switch Mode: high/strobe/sos (Light press to turn the mode to another)
Power by : 1 x 18650 3.7v

It was super cheap , but I am surprised how well it works!!

Full charge takes about 4 hours, normal intermittent use it stays charged well over 2 weeks before any noticeable change in brightness

I shot this in the darkest room I have I will shoot another tonight outside.

I'm out here in the boonies, with a modem, vids load so slow I can't watch them unless I have a 1/2 hour to burn.

Thanks for the review. The best rechargeable batteries I've found are Radio Shack but they are pretty darn expensive. I'd like to know which rechargeable AA and AAA folks have had good luck with. It looks like that one is a proprietary battery?

it is , its 3.7 v made for the ultrafire lights.

Speaking of rechargeable batteries, did you know that there are 2 AAA and sometimes AAAA rechargeable batteries in those dollartree solar lights !!!!

Nice thing about it is there cheap, I can get 2 of the batteries for 9.99 shipped.

I've tried the Duracell and Coppertop and they just don't seem to last very long. The Radio Shack do a nice job but they must be gold plated.

i have had good luck with the fuji brand and also the kodak brand but there a little pricey too!!!

welderguy, I've got two of those ultrafire that use the 18650 batteries but mine will also use 2x 16340's (lithium ion verson of a cr123)
I don't know if your's can use them but it doubles the output. Ultrafire make many different types of these flashlights.
My favorite light of all time is my Balder SE1
With a small 14500 Lith Ion, its seriously brighter than one of my car head lights.

When I got this one I thought it was the one that would use the cr123 but it isn't . I saw several that I like by ultra fire, I may add them to my collection some day soon.

That's pretty close to what you would expect from a triple-cell NiCad.
