Default California Rim Fire Was Started By Hunter's 'Illegal' Fire

    This s an outrage!!!

"The wildfire still burning north of Yosemite National Park — you know, the one that acres and was at one point one of the largest fires in recent California history — was started by a hunter's illegal fire.

The U.S. Forest Service said in a statement that its investigators had concluded that the Rim Fire "began when a hunter allowed an illegal fire to escape."
Authorities, said the Forest Service, have made no arrest and they are not releasing the name of the hunter."

Lets be clear, the "hunter" mentioned here is a genetic term, and NOT the Famous Hunter63..........although there maybe some that "might" misconstrue, due to some...ahhh....issues? .....I may have had in the past, the involved several fire starting and penny stove trials....that resulted with some "naked" fleece, black spots and such.

I have any alibi,..... several in fact, and haven't traveled to those nether regions as of late.....So, No I wasn't Hunter63, ....Just to be clear.

They may have used the word "hunter" inappropriately also. What was he hunting in the summer time? Forest Service is full of liberals.

...I heard it was most likely caused by a "drug cartel" making their product there and it went bad fast on the news here.

I was there and got to here the initial size up on a rangers radio "we have a small 50' fire with a fast rate of spread" then the ranger looked irritated and turned it off as I schooched closer haha.

The mumbling continued as he set down his beer....."Hey! y'all watch this"

There then seemed to be some laughter and one eyewitness report said that he next shouted "Donchaknow". Authorities are still trying to figure that one out.

I hope they bankrupt him and then sentence him to 20 years hard labor.
The devastation is astounding (homes and wilderness), all due to one A-hole's total disregard for the law and ineptness to contain the fire he illegally started.
If I could get my hands on him, I'd gladly go to jail afterwards.

I would like to know what he was hunting up there in the summer time? Chances are they was hunting for a landing zone to get their product out. Don't believe everything/anything that the liberal news media puts out. There is some serious pot growing in them there woods.

Seriously, was he carrying a bow, because that's all that was open yet.

On the bright side, it's getting some of us firefighters on good payin strike teams...

Although it did put a damper on trying to get to some fly fishing spots up there...

I have not hunted deer in Calif. for a long time, but if the hunting regs are basically the same as when I left, that area where the fire allegedly started would have been open only to archery hunting, at this time. I believe the Inland Deer Hunting Season established by Calif. F&G designates that area as open for rifle hunting usually the second Saturday of September. (???) Maybe, however, the regs have changed.

I find it rather strange that the "authorities" know where the illegal fire started, allegedly by whom, yet to date, the alleged criminal has not been arrested. Why not?

I also know that the area is a hot bed of marijuana farms, most under the control of Mexican drug cartel gangs who fund them and pay illegal aliens a few dollars to cultivate the "grow." Not that illegal aliens cultivating marijuana farms for the Mexican cartels would ever break the law by starting an illegal campfire. Illegal aliens and drug cartels obey the law, as we all know.

Of course, maybe it was just an archery hunter who was incredibly careless and non-caring. It'll be interesting to know the facts ... if they ever come out.
