Heat treating my blades

Hi all just looking for advice with regards to heat treating a few little knives I have whipped up from some concrete cutting discs I have aquired. Obviously the steel is treated to suit purpose but should I anneal
them before going for the Hardening?
Also I've got a pile of old flat pry bars I'm looking at utilising for a few knives for friends now I'm just checking here but again would it be best to anneal these bad boys before going to hardening?
One last thing with regard to the pry bars I'm going to have to do some test heat treatments to get it bang on the money but any thoughts as to temps would be very much appreciated.

How did you profile and grind them? If you didn't change the temper when you did, it may not be necessary to heat treat them. Do you know what type of steel the blades were made from?

Right then chaps after a bit of playing around and only one balls up I have firstly discovered that the steel does need a heat treat the material was just a little too soft to take any punishment. Secondly the tempering temp had to be no higher than 200 c or 400 f thats the absolute max and after 1 tempering run and a little flame on the back edge they held up pretty well. I was able to flex one to 90* and edge retension was fantastic. Only thing is because the thickness of the material is only 2.5mm I can't imagine them lasting forever with regular use but still really good light duty blades. Also I wouldnt like to try and go too long on the length of the blades as my longest was about 10" over all is bent just a little in the quech. By the way I do my quenching old school blacksmith style water and earth, not ice cold water I usually boil about 4 kettles and about 4 scoops of earth and it works fantastic plus less smelly. I will be posting a picture of the finished products very soon then its leather and kydex sheath time.
