Blinded by the beauty/Can Mountains be to Beautiful..???

Can some places be to beautifull....? This time of year is too perfect, The mountains are like the finest crystal, pure white, and radiant in the noonday sun. The birthing of a new cycle in minuet hint of greenish'redish willow buds.

I have got to stop sniffing the fresh ground coffee prior to my daily walks.

The Beavers are still in prison, and the top of their world is still frozen solid. I walked around the lake to check each beaver house.......That really has to be a hard life. I wonder if they dream of the awesome beauty of the mountains.......?

Is it a SIN to live in a place with such beauty....??? And is it fair that some only ever get to see a photo of such a place, in a book called photo's of the Great Land.

And is it any different to be imprisoned by concrete, or to be imprisoned by ice......For neither can see the grandeur of the mountains.

It is a fine day to be alive................

I'm sure the other animals feel similar...ever noticed how bears like to nap and relax where there's a beautiful view? Why would animals evolve with so many different colours and textures to their feathers and fur if they wouldn't enjoy looking at it? Or plants, for that matter..not sure beauty is all visual.

Hey! It's not so bad here. New curbs last fall. 100s of cookie cutter houses on zero lot lines. Plenty of association rules to keep us busy. I've got a great view of many different colored roofs. And it was warm here today.

We just had a skiff of snow again just before supper. Suppose to snow all night. I leaned off my Lazyboy chair and took a pics for ya Rick.

This is Moose Mountain. This is what I see out from the front of my house. Banded Peak is the mountain I live on the side of, behind me.

Very spectacular but sometimes you take it for granted when you live here. Kinda like the ocean, for me it's stunning but to the locals it's no big deal.

Hey Bragg, there's a Moose Mtn on my picture too

Actually White Moose Mtn, the roundish one furthest back on the righthand side. Also the view from the house.
Not too inspirational, the names of lakes and mountains...I think they did a survey years ago about the most comon landmark name in Canada and it turned out to be Mud Lake...

I am heading to Laconia, NH again this June and can't wait to get in the mountains. I would love to move north but I don't care for the cold weather much. You guys live by some beautiful country.

It is just part of the exercise program, on days I shovel snow I don't compel myself to snowshoe so many miles......

One time I was driving to Washington State. Well after leaving Redding, CA on the 5 freeway I went by Mount Shasta. Talk about a big mountain. You could see it from 50 to 100 miles away. While driving past it and looking up at it it looked almost surreal.
