    Default My Grandpuppy Lucy

This is a pic of my 14 month old, 8.5 lb., Maltese grandpuppy, Lucy, on top of Mount Liberty in New Hampshire. Lucy hiked up and down the 4,459 foot mountain (8+ mile hike including swimming across a stream) with my oldest son a couple of weeks ago. She's his regular hiking companion, and a veteran of over a dozen 4,000+ foot mountains. All he has to do is say the word "hike" to her and she's racing toward the door.

That is cool!! When I used to say lets go for a walk to my dog She would look at me like " seriously, You have fun with that"!!! and then crawl up on the couch.

That's what I told my son most of the time in the last few years. Dad is 29 years older than him, and he likes to RUN up the mountain. I may as well hike alone, LOL.

Don't do it, 2D. Don't even think about it. It's just a waste of time. You know it will get moved.

You know, Elizabeth Taylor owned Maltese throughout her life. People become very loyal to a certain breed.

Yeah, we're pretty partial to a few mutts around here.
