You will never be able to reason with those pampered, smug, holier-then-thou left wing bliss ninnies. You're wasting your time trying.

Just do what you want on the trail, so long as it is legal, and let those naive little children-in-mind congratulate themselves on how morally and intellectually superior they are over the worker peasant riff raff who should be barred from the hiking trails.

    Have fun on your trip.

It never ceases to amaze me how many worker peasant riff raff there are out there. They are everywhere! How is a pampered, smug, holier-than-thou bliss ninnie like me supposed to put up with all of them?! You don't need that gun on the trail by the way.

Yeah those are the kind of people that would run and hide when the SHTF and wouldn't bother to stop and help you if you were hanging upside down from a railroad bridge with your foot stuck between the ties.
Those are the kind that would perish as soon as times got bad because they are too cowardly to fight for what they beleive in. Their idea of fighting is flaming people on the internet

Once they go blind, you won't have anything to worry about. It doesn't work on mountain lions, though.

One thing I like about my Kbar is it is easy to attach to the ridgeline of my hammock. I normally do not hike without a firearm (much of my hiking is during hunting season or scouting though). If I had to just have my Kbar, I would not feel defenseless. I don't really like not having ranged weapons though.

Depends on the Hippie. There are many who think anything larger than this......
Guests can not see images in the messages. Please register in the forum. is too much.
    But those are the fanatics.
Many like the moras. In fact Ray Jardine even has a mora kit he sells that you can make your own handle and sheath and everything.
SAK's are popular as well. Different mentality.
Just like in any other endevour, you get people who think "If you aren't doing it the way I do it, you are wrong".

I don't carry a gun in the woods. Of course, this mostly because I don't have a gun to carry. I have a rifle, and a shotgun, and a 22lr. But so far, food for my family, and all the other expenses kids bring has prevented me from a handgun. If anyone wants to donate me a handgun........ The only time I thought I needed one, was when I heard a fox scream in the middle of the night, and I didn't know what it was, and didn't have my dog or bear spray with me.

Sadly, some folks are born without a funny bone. It's an unfortunate abnormality. The term humor derives from the humoural medicine of the ancient Greeks, which taught that the balance of fluids in the human body, known as humours control human health and emotion. Please be extremely cautious. With your lack of humours you might find yourself on a forum when you get beat up by hippies. Hey, it happens.
