Phony Scandal?

OK - I normally avoid posting topics like this, but it is one I have been following since it happened. Bengahzi. Four Americans were killed that night. Several others were wounded. There has been a lot of speculation and a lot of stonewalling. Today CNN (Jake Tapper) broke some new news on it. http://thelead.blogs.cnn.com/2013/08...nghazi-attack/

Those brave Americans that tried to rescue others were hung out to dry by our government and that upsets me more than you can imagine. Those responsible for this need to be held accountable.

We need laws that require substantially more "transparency" (I normally hate that word) in government, including a requirement that all statements made by government officials under oath or to the press or the public BE THE TRUTH, laws that provide substantial prison terms (like a mandatory minimum of 20 years) for any government official who abuses or misuses their official position or violates anyone's rights under color of authority, and an army of special prosecutors to enforce the law and protect the people from the government, particularly the Department of Justice.

This one lands at the top. It was a plan that backfired. It was a plan that will be buried for years. It might have gone better if the Ambassador and his security had been in on the ploy.

You read what I wrote, so not sure if that is misreading it or not. It seems as though, since I don't normally join in the threads that decry the latest government outrage that you made an assumption. It's an issue that I have called and written to many, many members of Congress since the first claim of a Youtube video that nobody ever saw was the cause of this. It's one that I have been very involved with (along with others). This forum is not my outlet for these things is why you don't hear me talk about it or know my rage.

When the 2016 elections roll around (providing we haven't been overtaken by some NWO or crushed by a fascist regime) I plan on reminding folks how our Secretary of State cowered while brave American citizens were under attack abroad and four of them were eventually murdered. I will suggest they ask themselves, "After her failures to lead in Benghazi, do we really want her as our Commander in Chief?"

This Administration has once again demonstrated how cold and callous it is at the core. To suggest there is ANYTHING phony about the attacks at Benghazi and loss of lives suffered there. The only thing phony in Washington is the appearance of empathy which emanates from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
