What is so awesome about this is there is more than just him in the room. His buddy didn't have the balls to tell him not to do it...........AND....... his "Second Chance" plate just lost the warranty and the integrity trauma plate is shot (literally). This dumba$$ took a round in the gut and lost $200 in one pull of the finger.

I've never read one of those warranties. Lemme' guess..... "If our product fails to perform, Second Chance will replace your life within 14 days. The consumer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs....."

If my memory serves me correctly, the guy in the picture Ken posted is the inventor/owner of Second Chance vests.

I believe the vest(s) were only warranted for one round causing the warranty to immediately expire after it was hit and the plates had to be replaced. Now with that being said, when I wore a vest on a daily basis the technology was different. When I get back from Canada I will begin my search for vests and plates.

I usually ask my wife to wear mine when I want to test it.

I beleive you are correct, from what i was told, if my vest got hit I was to replace it ASAP, but I always wondered something, what if I had been hit 3 or 4 times in the same fire fight, would the warranty still cover the vest. But then again if the vest failed I really would not have a need for the warranty!
What level of protection are you looking for? I have been looking at the Dragon skin vest's , I currently have one of these...http://www.safeguardclothing.com/coo...ke-proof-vest/.
I Wonder Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink what ever comes out?"
