As for politicians...well, you elect them...you breed them, you nurture them, you fashion them...not the other way around...and if you just had a hint of perspicacity, you would realize that i would make a lousy politician.
I don't know what "never really saying anything" means...i would guess that you mean you don't understand, or you can't understand what i say, or you simply do not care, but i will give you the benefit of the doubt, and go with what i say does not speak to you...which is ok of course.
Speaking is like cooking...you obviously do not like the taste of mine...and i find yours insipid and hermetic, the "meals in less than 10 minutes" method maybe...that is what most allow for their digestion also, and this world of yours, constantly searching for the fastest meal, will become more and more insipid...more and more fashioned for the MRE...
If you were looking for the paradox in the following answer: "because i was told to", look no further than the first word...be-cause, is indeed a paradox, and war without soldiers does not make much sense. So either way, there is still no greater paradox than war, for wars and soldiers are one. There is no "philosophy" behind what i am saying, nor my words are empty of condiments and perfumes from the deserts of your visions.
The word "abstract" or "paradox" does not exude the pleasures of sunday morning philosophy, they belong to a realm that is a lot closer to the heart of things than philosophy could ever be. Philosophy is an affair of the mind, a disease, brought on by the denaturalization and the dichotomies of our ever so present ideas and beliefs.
My cooking is not of philosophy, in fact, philosophy makes me laugh, except maybe a little Nietzsche on those rainy days when my mind wanders unchecked. You talk about philosophy and politics like you would throw on some salt and pepper in a soup already cold...i have no business in those two realms, and saying that soldiers or anyone understands the politics that govern our destinies, our lives, is making me smile.
I could obviously go on for hours...cooking and basting a meal your taste buds would probably never recognize.
I have no need for all those truths thrown in a microwave oven for 24 seconds...for the truths that do not flow from our flesh.
I dance, because if i stopped, you would forget how to dance.
I dance, because if i stopped, you would believe we have hungry wolves within us trying to dominate abstract ideas.
What a paradox...
