I can't really do much for a BOB at work. I do have access to the one in my car fairly easily. Also the trailer is only a few miles away.
That being said, I do have a few odds and ends in my lunch pail and workbench. You never know when stuff might come in handy.
(Plus, you can't really say that work is urban)

Google "cane stool". You'll get a ton of hits. Here's one with a vintage look and pretty cheap.

What is the difference in a BOB and an urban BOB?

I talked to a couple Buddies from Dallas last night, I asked them what was in there BOB's since they work in High rise offices. it wasn't much different than mine, One is a smaller shoulder bag set up for 24 hours, the other is a backpack set up for 48 hours. these bags go from vehicle to office and back everyday, they also have supplies in there offices, also have Large BOB,s in there vehicles.

The main Difference ( in the bags that go to the office) was they didn't have as many methods of fire starting, less water than mine ( no bladder's).

I just meant it's important to have one in the city, too.

You might also look at the Stickstool. It's a hiking staff that transforms into a stool!

Just make certain you fold it into a stool before you try to sit on it.

As with any BOB there should be some cash. Especially if you plan to bug out to a hotel.

This is important when ever you venture out, no matter how far you go or why.
Technology is great....... when it works.

We found this out on our recent cross-country trip.
