    Smile Hello from TN

Hello everyone. From the Smoky Mtns in TN. I love the outdoors, I'm a bit of a weapons nut, especially primitive weapons. I love to build things and often do. One of my favorite things is figuring out to make something dirt cheap, or preferrably, free : )

That name definitely rings a bell. We probably met somewhere along the way I'll bet.

He's a oldtime gunsmith/treasure hunter. He was always looking for garlands/swifts silver up in the unakas. he showed my dad a turtle that somebody had chipped into the top of the mountain. It was up by indian grave gap. Last I heard the feds nabbed him coming out of the woods with something he found by red fork falls, don't know if that's true though. Heck of a gunsmith too, he put together a colt lightning that I had in a million pieces in a cigar box. He charged me 20 dollars and the gun functions perfectly.

Oh yeah, I know of Buddy, though we never met. I know those places you're talking about. I've tramped many a mile through them myself. Is Buddy your dad?

No, Buddy was a friend of my dads. My parents had lived on zac whitson lane. Buddy lives over behind the courthouse a bit, can't remember the street name but could drive right to it. I haven't seen Buddy for 5 years or so. Southeast Tennessee is nice country.
