Well look what the cat dragged in..... Nice to see you, Ken. Is this just a flying visit, or are you coming back into the assylum? 2dumb hasn't been the same since you went AWOL.

Ken, try pasting it into a text document, like notebook, and then copy and paste to the website. If you pasted directly from word, it will have some dangling code attached. Good to hear from you as well.

But she's been hanging around the house even after she sobered up.

If you can, copy the text and not the font (which I'm guessing you've done here). This usually resolves 99% of all problems with text.

By the way, you're in RI/MA? Fancy that, I'm in Cranston, RI .

Default I saw this comment the other day:

"If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally…you might live in a country run by idiots…

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion…you might live in a country run by idiots.

If you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor or check out a library book, but not to vote on who runs the government…you might live in a country run by idiots…

If the government wants to ban stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines with more than ten rounds, but gives 20 F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt…you might live in a country run by idiots…

If, in the largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not a 24-ounce soda because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat…you might live in a country run by idiots.

If a seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable…you might live in a country run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more…you might live in a country run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government intrusion, while not working is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized..."

    So true, reb!
What's more depressing is, it's still the best system on the planet. When I start thinking about where I could conceivably go if I could go anywhere, I always come back to the same conclusion:

If it were not for our Second Ammendment rights I would have left the U.S. long ago.

Once they are gone there are other places to spend my money and pay my taxes.

Here is another Bill Clinton quote.

"If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the Government's ability to govern the People, we should look to limit those guarantees." President William J. Clinton, 08-12-1993.

"They that can give up essential liberty to gain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

    - Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790),U.S. statesman, scientist, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759

There's absolutely nothing I liked about him or his wife but the particular line of his I quoted did resonate with me. "America" is more than the government we elect...it's all of us, and I have always had faith that we can do anything we set our mind to.

Thanks for the posting tip! I'm sure I'll screw it up, but I do appreciate it!
