Some of you know that I have been on a diet for almost 18 months. It is the low carb thing, no sweets, no breads and "nothing white".
It has been very successful in taking off and keeping off the wieght (90 pounds at this point), but it does deprive me of many of my favorite foods.
I had gone to one of the loacal buffets yesterday and found the battle against cheating difficult but possible.
Last night I woke from a terrifying dream where I was consuming mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, icecream and gummy bears.
It was so real that for several minutes I was sure I had lost all self discipline and fallen off the wagon. I even felt like I had gained pounds in my sleep! I actually had to fight myself awake to end the terror.
Fortunately all the pillows are still accounted for.
