Default What the Prettiest Knife You've Ever Seen?

Thoughts? This is mine, I like the primitiveness of it, and the copper in the grip, and the blade. I don't remember where I found it, I saved the picture to my desktop awhile ago. Wish I could make something like this. I do remember it was very expensive. Maybe a grand or more. DSCF9114.jpg

Very nice indeed. I subscribe to Blade Magazine and each month there is knife porn in it that will make you drool. Prices range from the affordable to over $50,000 for a single knife.

That's a hard one. I see so many knives on the various knife forums.
I can't nail it down to one.

This guy, he is consistently making extraordinary knives. Designed as solid working knives with a fantastic aesthetic.

Jake Powning works blows my mind.

Gerhard Wieland, awesome. I'd carry a knife that pretty. The designs are good to go for usability.

I bought a nice little drop pint fixed blade for my wife a few years back. I'll try and figure out the pic posting thing here soon, but it is about 5 1/2" or so and has a lucite type handle with multi colored bits in it. The blade looks hand hammered, except where sharpened. Awesome cool looking. If the handle wasn't so girly, it would have been for me!

There are far too many outstanding ones for me to single just one out, but I sure would give any 1 of my fingers for this beauty:

I don't know about the prettiest knife I've ever seen, but this one is the prettiest knife I own:

It's a 1930's "reservation knife" made for the tourist trade using a purchased blade. The silver handle has turquoise, coral and onyx stones, and a carved mother-of-pearl inlay depicting an eagle. It was clearly intended as a display piece. I use it as such in my Cowboy Action Shooting matches. Its on my gunbelt, but never used.

It has gotten a lot of positive (even adoring) comments over the years.

Sorry about that. Apparently I suffer from the "Chester Good Syndrome" -- quick on the trigger, slow on the draw. (Gunsmoke fans know what I mean, I hope...)

I changed my mind about my "prettiest" knife. Now, the prettiest knife I have ever seen or owned is the one in my pocket. A slightly used Swiss Army Huntsman that I bought off eBay. Just got it a couple days ago, and its already be used a few times. Hope Victorinox's "Lifetime Warranty" holds true.
