Yeah, if it got an F it probably flunked "keeping you warm" class and.....oh, wait.....you meant.....never mind.

Also look to see if it has a C or an F after the temperature......could make a BIG difference.

You should have said something. I had four more sleeping bags, 3 wool blankets and 4 fleece blankets in the truck.

I was plenty warm. I had two Coleman bags I double baged. I had used them that way in the past and they are always good. I have simply been wanting a good lightweight bag that would do the job by itself without spending a month's income.

Apparently I found it. I got the Walmart bag this week and decided to try it out tonight. I figured if it would not do the job now was the time to find out and not out in the woods.

28 degrees outside so I ran out and jumped into the car and slid into the bag. It was very warm at that temp for over an hour. I was listening to a ball game on the radio and kicked back and relaxed.

I get cold easily due to hypothermia several years ago. Apparently it stays with you.

No breezes, toasty warm, but very confining. It is a mummy style and if I were any bigger than my 220@5'10" I would have felt like a mummy allright. If you move around a lot in your sleep this may not be the bag for you.

I do not know if it will keep me warm down to the 5 degrees F it claims but I am sure it will work down to the 20s and with a wool blanket inside the bag I could lay in the snow and sleep with no problems.
