Cheap land

I was just thinking that there is no such thing as "cheap land" any more, so I had to do a little looking. I found some land that is pretty cheap, in West Texas. Mind you, I don't know who in the world would want to live there, but you can get 100-200 acre tracts, for about $350 per acre.
So, I guess if you had a self contained spaceship, that you wanted to hide underground, and just need a bunch of land with nothing there, that would be the deal! LOL

Man 2d, even the Indians did not want to live in west Texas! They would run off over there and hide out so the Texans would not make the effort to find them.

$350 an acre is way too high for those parcels!

If you are going to go out there you can find places in Nevada and Idaho in the Great Basin where you can lease land from the BLM for free. My FIL has a camper parked on BLM land for $20 per year outside Pheonix. He has to carry in every drop of water he uses but it is a fun weekend getaway when the weather is right.

You can shoot any direction you want to and never worry about hitting anyone. You are the only soul for 20 miles in any direction.

It's basically, something about not wearing white during the winter. I think it's OK again after Easter.

I been out in that part of the state and someone would have to pay me $350 an acre to walk that land. No thanks. I'll stay here in east Texas. Prices alot higher but we have trees and water.:>)
