now my name is drew dunn and i am a 24 year old bloke who lives in north east england in the united kimgdom. Now i have all ways had a dream of homesteading in the canadian interia. now please dont think this is some crazy arsed english dude who plans on running a way to the wilderness cos its not. i plan on doing it properly and actually staying out there.
now how am i going about this well i am member of bushcrfaft uk and go camping and bushcrafting all the time.
now i am also buying books and trying to llearn skills i will need so with that in mind i have started to look at the following subject
knots
shelter building
log cabin building
food preservation
trapping and hunting
guns and shooting currently own a .22 air rifle
photography
leather and hide work
genral sewing
knitting
cooking (with and with out pans and normal and cast ion pans)
camp skills
green and dried wood work
navigation
obsevasion
axe work
knife work
saw work
first aid
conoeing
off grid power generation (having been a mechanical and electrical maintanence fitter this shouldnt really be a problem but i am not up to date on the technology thats out there)
fishing
now some of these subjects i am reasonably good at due to having been a scout and having been a see scout as well i feel i could sirvive now
i also have been camping in any weathers and am happiest in the cold or the heat it doesnt matter to me.
