Need Opinions On Firestarting Tools

Socomm - FinallyMe came up with about the best fire starting kit I've ever seen. Here's a link to it. If you scroll down you'll see the kit I built off of it. It's relatively cheap, redundant and waterproof. Hard to beat that. I've come to believe that any fire starting tool has it's place.

Broadcast method for me,,,,just checked orange hunting clothes, and restocked bic's, The Dollar store has 'sorta bic's" 3 for a buck, per card.........

I was refering to on your person. I have them stashed all over.
A couple in car, I think theres 3 in my pack (1 buried at the bottom, couple in top pouch with PJCB's and Fat Wood) at the moment.

Even stashed a mini inside the handle of my .99 Fiskers Trowel!

I have several Finger size Fat Wood sticks I choped down to 3" scattered about as well.
Cheap, Water proof, can shave off slivers that will catch a flame and hold it well for starting wood.

The only thing I don’t like about a lighter is dropping it in snow, if it was warm enough to work it won’t. Other than that I like the ones for lighting cigars, the ones with a triple flame.
