I'm going to go watch a John Wayne movie. This is starting to get depressing from a manly point of view.

I've already tried some Clint Eastwood movies but it barely helped. I just have to face it,...I have a "khute" gun. Arrrrrgh, spelling it different doesn't even help! Maybe if I have it bored out to .22 magnum the ''cute'' thing will be easier to accept .
9mm: Because I've seen a .45 bounce off of a windshield MORE THAN ONCE.

9mm: Because even 1911 guys don't want to get shot with one of my "little" bullets.

9mm: Because low round count single stack pistols suck in a gun fight!

Famous quotes Clint Eastwood didn't make:

"Now, I know you're probably asking yourself "Did he fire six shots, or just five from that cute gun?" Well, in all this excitement, I clean forgot myself."

Other Guy: "You just shot an unarmed man"
Clint: "He should have armed himself with a cute gun."

"This is the AK-47 assault rifle, the preferred weapon of your enemy; and it makes a distinctive sound when fired at you, so remember it. And, it's pretty cute. "

I can't even imagine Clint saying the word "cut", but if he did, it would still sound "manly". A guy like that can get away with it. It just won't work for us "Joes". I'm gonna get my digital pocket recorder out and practice a little. Not while anyone's around though. hahaha.

Oh, I have another one Clint didn't say but could have:
"Being that this is such a cute gun and could put six little holes in your head, do you feel lucky punk, well do ya?

Clint Eastwood could dress in a pink skirt, and pig tails, and if he called a gun "cute'.....You would say,..... Sir, Yes Sir, That is a cute gun, Sir!
Most of us couldn't get way with it...... (even though I did call one cute recently)

    Cool Here's a thought...

What if Chuck Norris called a gun "cute," huh? What then?

Got a little update. Today I shot it after conducting a department qualification for some new recruits. I did not shoot for groups but instead decided to shoot for "fun". No rulers or calculators involved. Just a few coffee cups and ammo cartons. Long story short, I am very pleased. At the obligitory 25 yard line it was super easy to make the cups and boxes dance at will. I actually got an offer to buy it. Of course I declined the offer after explaining that I don't sell guns that are given to me. Just wouldn't be right to sell a gift, especially one that is soooo much fun. Well this youngster is going to buy his own Bearcat "As soon as payday rolls around" (his quote). I bet his wife doesn't know his plans and I'm not tellin' . My bearcat is fit for duty and going into my bow hunting bag for targets of opportunity. It definately shoots tight enough for my purposes (small furry food and vermin). I have heard that Bearcats are mediocre in the accuracy department, but not this one. Matter of fact the other one I've had for a long while shoots darn good too. I don't know where that stuff came from. I have never met a Ruger revolver that couldn't shoot well. Just figured everybody might want to know how she danced today. And yes, I even called her ''cute''. Ok, it slipped. I didn't want to call it that .

    Update #2

Yesterday evening while bass fishing in my pond, I hooked into what I thought was a big flathead catfish by how it was pulling. Well, after a good fight with this creature of the abiss hugging the bottom, it surfaced. Low and behold, it was no catfish but a big snapping turtle instead. I wrestled this critter to the side of the boat where I found my plastic worm to be gone and the worm hook comming out of the side of it's ugly maw. I have dealt with enough snapping turtles to know he was not going to give my hook back without trying to take off my fingers. Bearcat to the rescue! Let's put it this way, I got my hook back and still have all my digits thanks to a well placed .22 LR. My buddy was given the turtle to make soup and bluegills/smaller bass are now safe from another pond wrecker. Gotta love a handy .22 revolver.
