That wire saws are a serious tool for cutting wood.

A 22 is all the gun you’ll ever need for big or dangerous game.

Eating bugs adds enough to your diet to make a difference.

A practical fishing kit fits in a film canister.

That you can carry 70 pounds of gear day in, day out, day after day.

There is more I just wanted to get the list started. What kinds of things seem absolutely ridicules to you? It would be my desire that each person only list things they find absurd and not respond or argue the merits of other posts. Please don’t feel the need to convince anybody.

That you can go out in the woods in a cold weather climate with just a knife & the Clothes on your back! You'll just be a poorly dressed corpse!

That Bear Grylls has a clue as to what he's talking about or that he's any kind of a Survival expert!

That drinking urine is a good thing to do in a survival situation.

- that you can survive off the land in a large scale 'hunger' situation, whatever that may be.
- that your garden-in-a-can will sustain you and your family if you have not prepared a plot to plant it in (that's up to an acre folks, usually at least 1/2 acre recommended.)
- that the other hungry folks out there aren't gonna want what you have.
