Jigged Bone

I have had this guy on my table for a few weeks now. It is 154 cm steel and Amber jigged bone. The pins are copper. It is hollow ground and hand made in my shop. it is about 5 7/8" long over all. Hope ya like it.

I can't get my durn camera to focus on the knife! What do I need to do? I have a Canon A590 Power Shot.Its got all these settings and I don't know what half of them do.

Another nice knife, Frank.

On the camera, maybe check the user manual? That always worked for me.

Try holding the button you use to take the picture half way down. On my Canon Powershot A570 that lets it set the focus if its set to Automatic.

Cameras come with user manuals? Who would've thunk it.

Frank - probably the easist way is to make sure that the setting is on Automatic (should be green and labled auto on the top mode selector dial). For closer pictures, press the little button on the back that looks like a flower. That puts it in Macro mode and will focus well for close up shots. Pressing it again will take it to normal mode.

Cant help with the camera. But the knife looks great. I just bought a Linder a couple of weeks ago but this looks closer to what I had in mind. I have seen some great knive on here. A bunch of talented guys here.

They are just some cow bone scales with jigging on them. I bought the material at USA Knifemakers Supply. They are dyed all the way through the bone. It is very dark on the the outside but once you grind into them the nice amber color comes out. I really like them and will be buying some more soon. Thanks!
