    Default I know this guy.....

I could hardly sleep last night! I got a text from a buddy letting me know he was going to be making room in his safe to pick up a few new guns. The last time I got a text like that from him, I picked up a BPR in 300 Win mag with a 3.5-10 Leupold for $500, a Ruger number 1 stainless in 25-06 with a 6.5-20 Leupold for the same money and a Browning light 20 for $250! Sadly, I lost all of those guns..

He is going to get me a list soon, I'll post pictures of what I come up with...right before I load them on the canoe to get them home.

May I suggest outriggers? I think I'm going to go that route in the future.

If you can't be trusted to keep 'em, how can you be trusted to shoot 'em?

    btw...
Watched the story of Bernhard Goetz yesterday on the History channel.
The subway shootout happened before I moved here but everyone knows ALL about it and has always been behind what BG did including the Guardian Angels.
Once I moved here of course, the city became much safer.

I have 2 friends that call me when they are getting the "git rid of some gun safe stuff" itch.(or they are felling guilty about DW finding out).

I generally just buy what ever they have up.........Then when they get the "Oh I shouldn't have got rid of (whatever)" I generally sell or trade them back.

That's if the canoe stays upright, of course.

So stuff kinda comes and goes... A Ruger M77 .270 went back and forth 3 different times (the stories that rifle could tell...).
Finally gave it to my nephew, First deer and first big buck, first rifle.

Good luck on a possible treasure.

Camp, I will be right up to help you and I'll bring my canoe, I never tip over, except that one time, broke my fly rod ($400), lost my camera($200), cell phone($100), trolling motor ruined ($130), and the battery ($100), and my wife will never ever let me forget it.

Well Tipacanoe, depending on the list he brings back to me, I might need some help! So far all he offered was a light 12 and a 4x12 Leupold. He said he has others (including his Browning micro in 7mm-08) that he is thinking about selling me. Sadly, he lives on the other side of the Androscoggin river so I dont know how many might make it all the way home...
