I haven't even SEEN the revolver, only 4 freakin' 709 slims that they are clearly trying to get rid of.
I don't know if I want ANYTHING form Taurus, but the problem will be finding a buyer as all my local guys have stopped representing Taurus because they had similar situations.

Lord...please let this thing shoot like a dream and make this irritation go away!!

Oh...by the way. He ran to stop the shipment and was to call me back. yeah...he went home. He's going to get a nice happy phone call tomorrow and if he doesn't pick up the darn phone, I'll simply call the 800# until he does. See...I can reschedule the rest of my week and do nothing but pester him. If it's not in the mail...I better get a freakin' refund. UGH!

I always keep a few decent C&R S&W's around here to trade like a Mod 40 Cenntenial, 3 diff- 36's, even one with a 3" barrel, model 10 2" etc.......stick with the oldies, you will never be disappointed.

With all due respect Ma'am.. When you receive that pistol you do not want, Shoot it. Then put it in a sack and hit it with a hammer until the gun is in many many small pieces. Then Burn the sack with the pistol in it. Then Bury the sack with the pistol in it, bury it deep, in a lead lined box. That pistol MUST be ELIMINATED!!!


Then go buy a Ruger!

709 - 43 = 666............the sign of the Beast Gun..........get a Rabbi that practices Catholic exercisims on material things, call in Ghost Hunters and at the very least store it with a bible, koran and tora on, under and around it and sprinkle holy water on it when shooting.

When and if you get the revolver, give it a good 500 round shake down, even though they are remarkably better than their semi-auto cousins from Taurus, I have read in some of the gun forums they too are coming with issues, even though I have not seen them here at the shop. The biggest issue so far has been small chambers on the .357's, they fit 38's but not .357's even though they are marked .357's. This is happening mostly on the stainless steels.

The only issue with this one that I've heard about, is that the cylinder chambers aren't always bored out to the correct diameter. I'll have my guy pop a round in each cylinder before I sign for it...and hold my breath that it goes in smoothly each time. If not...back it will go...and ticked I shall be. LOL!

Make sure you also test nickled brass in +P & nickled brass in .357 (reloads if possible)
