    Default Guess what!!!!

Taurus...after three tries, finally agreed to send me a revolver to replace the slim that kept coming to me broken. I got the call today...drove all the way to pick it up...opened the box...and found

    Another 709 Slim.

Apparently there are some mentally challenged people working at Taurus.
Maybe they need to pass a background check to deal with customers.

There has to be a minimum IQ required, I'd think. Unless they don't want to discriminate against morons.

The NEW one looked like the locking pin had be pushed out and back in again. Called this morning and was apologized to up and down with the explanation that the dude that picked it, clearly didn't read the "notes". I made it clear that I've been dealing with this for months, and I was more than willing to take a cheeper gun. This shouldn't be happening, and that they need to look very hard into their quality control department. I also informed them that I've kept names of the lot of them and that there will be a letter AND phone call shot out to CEO if I don't have the proper gun by the end of this week. I got a lot of friendly voices at that point...so now we wait. Again. Ugh. I really need to stop being such a darn push over.

I'll bet a nice new piece will take care of that real quick...although I don't quite see you as a pushover, T.

I've been really really nice and understanding up until now. I think I should have pushed earlier. I'm more than three months into this thing now...and still have nothing to show for it. I think that's what makes me feel like a push over. Maybe if I had gotten this ticked off at the person on the phone when the first one showed up broken...I wouldn't be going through this now. Eh...I don't know...

Since you've been so nice and understanding up to now, you've earned the right to push for extras--a more expensive model, extra bells and whistles, whatever. DO NOT let them off easy without getting something back for your troubles.

Her old piece may have a problem with her getting a piece from someone new!

I've turned into a crazy laughing fool! No joke...I called Taurus to make sure my gun was due to or has gone out in the mail today. Took forever to get the guy I needed on the phone and he swore it was going out, you hear him clicking on his keyboard as he's calling up my account...and then,
"OH MY GOD!! THEY PICKED THE WRONG GUN AGAIN!!! Let me call you back." *click*
Total look of shock on my face now...and absolute disbelief. That place is FULL of window lickers!!!!

At this point T, you should sell it as soon as you get it. There seems to be a pox on it and I wouldn't want to take any chances with it. And I'm not even superstitious.

Are you sure you really want a revolver from these people? I agree with B on this one..sell it and buy an American made Ruger.
