    Default A beautiful day

I was going through some pictures I had taken this past fall and thought I'd share this one with you folks.

The lake in the fore ground is Jim Lake.

The mountain in the back ground is Pioneer Peak, it is roughly 7000 ft.

The area of the photo is the lower Knik river valley.

I took the picture with my cell phone.

Great photo. That's beautiful. Those trees in the middle of the pic sure give you a sense of scale.

What I wouldn't give to live there! Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.

That's easy, T. Just give up your life as you know it.

But yes, it is a little bit of heaven on earth. Great shot!

LOL! I don't know if I could call that "easy". LOL!! Hey...if I had a place to live and that I could keep warm, I would be up there in a heart beat! Sadly having a child kind of keeps me where I can get internet. *grumble*

My neighbor lady (Married) and 37 y/o runs up that mountain (Really Twin Peaks) and down, then back up then down. We are talking a womens mountain run. And she always comes in second place.
