Utility knife
I had a small scrap piece of 1095 left over and saw one of these and made it just to see. It cuts wood very well, and scores leather very well. I opened up a box of rasps a good buddy sent me as well. Whatcha think? I left the HT scale on for the look.

I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

No its from the paper wheel I use to hone the edge. I actually just got done cleaning the scale off of it. This is the frst time I HT'ed 1095 and I like this steel. It doesn't seem to rust as easy as 1080-84.

I heat my oven to 1475 and let it soak at that temp for 20 minutes to stabilize the oven temp. Then I insert the blade and soak for 10 minutes once it gets back up to 1475. I quence in McMasterCarr queching oil, then 400-425 for two hours x 2. I got some good results with that HT.
