Oh; and i got the lady the deepfrier she's been wanting, so we can try deep fried pickles and so we'll eat more onion rings.

that looks like quite a nice dutch oven, and case knives are always nice.

The boys got me a new Thermos and travel cup. The wife bought all three of us boys remote controlled helicopters. These are fun. Then my wife bought me a cast iron hand crank meat cuber. Oh yeah!

I had given everyone orders that they were NOT to get me anything. There's really nothing I need or want and I'm tired of Christmas being perverted into a mass marketing frenzy. It's great for the kids but I'm not a kid any more and I didn't want them wasting money on me. What I did received was....

    Brunch with the family.
Great fun watching the grandkids open presents.
The family sang happy birthday to Jesus.
    A nap.

Look down near the floor. Looks like a bottle of Canadian Whiskey and some window cleaner. That's how you party!

I am sitting back enjoying a coquito myself.

I am a big fan of Case XX cutlery.

SD, nice! You musta been a good boy this year!

Just pulled it out of the oven. I used Rick's recipe, but I goofed. I didn't pay attention to the cans of peaches and these were packed in pear juice, instead of in syrup.... good but the peaches are tart.

Kahlua? oops! oh well it's gone now... it was a mudslide.

Yep, some blended whisky too for the egg nog of course. Window cleaner is for the monitor LOL

My wife bought sliced apples in water for my apple cobbler. It was all they had.

So, now I have to figure out if I can do something to use them.

Santa left a new Gerber Multitool for me! I lost mine a month ago up at camp someplace. I've been having a tough time without it. I also scored a tape measure from my youngest son and a 4 pack of scissors for the knife shop from the oldest. I had a long phone call with my mother who missed Christmas with us (she remarried and moved to Texas several years ago). and spent most of the day with my brother and his family, my BIL and his girlfriend and my in-laws. I talked the DW into making a "traditional lemon meringue Christmas pie" and had the best ham dinner sence last Christmas...a fine day indead!

I meant Batch. I was wondering what he was going to make the apple cobbler in. Probably done by now.

Kindle, and some quality tools to add to the collection.
    Prepared enough.

I got 3,000 primed .223 brass and 3,000 62grain bullets. So now I have to dump some powder and seat some bullets.
