Thats a slick looking knife EA! I like everything about it. You should enter it on the BFC bushcraft challenge. I have used that material on my knife and really like it.

Its a challeng on Blade forums in the Wilderness and Survival section. There quite a few makers making knives to enter and see how it performs doing things like prepping firewood, making bow fire starters deadfall traps etc... That knife looks like it would do great at all those tasks. I don't have anything near ready to enter.

That is a nice looking blade. I like the design in the scales, too. Great job.

Eh I could submit it next year. I like this one a lot and will use it through out the next year anyway. Swamprat and I have a couple of week long trips we are planning so we will have real world experience with them and not just something set up at the house.

    Thanks guys!

How much for one like it?
    1. If it's in your kit and you don't know how to use it....It's useless.
    2. If you can't reach your kit when you need it....Its useless.

    flat ground 01? You win.

    Nice knife.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

I really have started liking this 01 and after fooling with the other grinds I find that I like the flat grind best for what I use a knife for: skinning deer, slicing meat, making traps and building fires and more often than not just cutten some rope or opening a box

    Thanks winter
