Default Forum Forgive Me for I Have Sinned.

It's true. I strayed from the path of Wilderness Survival and went over to the dark side. A Prepper site caught my eye and it was all shiny and new and I got caught up in their bells and whistles. Then, it changed and suddenly there was doom and gloom and talk of the end of the world. It was scary!!
I have come to my senses and realised the error of my ways. Never again shall I stray from the warm, fuzziness...oops.. strong ruggedness that is WSF!

Everyone makes mistakes in life. Let's hope this is a learning moment and one that will not be repeated. The good news is you survived. Probably thanks to the skills you learned here. Need I say more?

What if we add some alfredo sauce for you?
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

Or realize the reason it's greener is because it's the leach field for a septic system.

I see reports like this sometime and it does make you wonder. In all of the world wide web are we really alone? The sole survival forum?

Oh damn! Here comes Rick with that dang neuralizer thing. I think he has used it on me again cause its like deja vu all over again.

I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

And we all know what happened to "The Others"!

and no one ever realizes that in the book.....RAMBO DIES!

And sadly, YES We are the only survival forum made up of rational beings in the universe.

We are being gathered from across time and space to this place for gossip, chat and banter. I see it daily on other forums.

"Where did everyone go? All the smart ones are leaving."

"Yes Grasshopper, they are going to a mythical place we have heard of called WSF."

We had a long hike into that spot.

It was vacuum sealed ribeye and Snapps.

    mmmm. ribeye.

Winnie, as far as I'm concerned, you are already redeemed. I think of it like the parable about the prodigal son. I think we should celebrate Winnie's return to the light. Everyone meet me up at Winter's camp for ribeye's and snapps!
