My new gun...

Actually, I haven't bought it yet...but I just saw the BLR 270 WSM- then did a little research on it...and I am drooling. The post here a week ago or so about a guy's love for his lever action made me start missing my old 30/30 marlin- so I went looking for one. Instead, I found the BLR 270 WSM! It was like when I first saw a Victoria's Secret catalog when i was 16! Holy smokes...I didnt realize a gun could get such a reaction out of someone...I had to leave the gunshop!! Anyone own one of these or shot one?

Looked it up, cool rifle, good ballistics, and accuracy in a lever action.
I think you shoud run right down there and buy one, why wait and put up with the, sleepless nights, should I/shouldn't deal, night sweats...............

I dont know much about the 270 WSM, but I loved the BLR 308 I owned! I wish I never got rid of that one. I owned a Japanese version and always thought I wanted the older Belgium version. I got rid of mine and when I found a belgum made one, I didnt like the feel or balance and didnt buy it.

You know, I've regretted all but one. That one was a Mossberg 500. I know I'll take crap for bad mouthing a 500 and even more if I told the story about why I was (and am still) happy to have it gone.

I sold my first shotgun back in HS, I sold a Ruger #1 not that long ago, I've sold or traded several Savage 99s over the years and I've traded and sold a few handguns as well. I'd say though that I've done well to hold on to most of them, but I do miss those lost loves!
