Yeah, as far as world events go, on the other hand, I wouldn't see life as we know it existing like it is much further than 2012. TS could HTF on worldwide scale around that time, but that could happen tomorrow or 2020 or 2050 or 4312. It's a mystery that we won't find out about until that time. It's another Y2K type thing, only Mayan style.

Ya gotta build those pyramids first.

I wouldn't mind building a pyramid. I know of a good place to get limestone, as Indiana is full of it. All I'd need is tools, an extremely extensive knowledge of astrology, and slaves!

Part of that statement is right. Indiana is full of it.

Rupture? I sure hope not. Oh, wait. You said rapture. My take is He's gonna look down at the motley bunch assembled at your place, do a head slap and say, "Doh!"

St. Peter: "Lord, what you think about that bunch?"
    Lord: "I try not to."

Here you go. 220 dates for the end of the world. Now you can all start to worry. (Most of the ones in the past didn't happen. A couple might have, I'm not sure).

Here's the problem, as I see it, in predicting the end of the world. 1. You're just plain wrong and everybody knows it. 2. You're right and there's no one left to know it. You can't win.

Never say never. Fresh water can be spoiled in so many ways. Have the ability to purify it, too.

I would agree with that. About the only thing you would have to do is strain it, I suppose, to get rid of any surface debris but that would be some very pure water.

I forgot about those little guys. Still, straining should remove them. I don't know if they are edible or not. They feed on the microorganisms in the ice so I wouldn't think they would be bad for you. Still, I don't eat what I don't know for certain.

What do you do if you can't reach the glacier? The water is too silt laden to drink without straining a couple of times. Any more silt and you could walk across some of the rivers.

Question for you. While I was there I kept hearing about how dangerous the silt was. I never tried it out so I don't know. The way they explained it to me was the silt was triangular shaped and wedged together if you stepped into. Wouldn't release you or release you with great difficulty. True?

    I believe:

Politicians are like diapers! They need changing often and for the same reason.

Mermaids wear sea shells because B shells are too small and D shells are too big.

When God created man, it could have been that she was just having a bad day!

The difference between a wife and a girl friend is about 45 lbs

The difference between a husband and and boyfriend is about 45 minutes.

Walking on water is easy, if you have the time to let it freeze.

Waking in the morning and taking a big breath, is the start of a good day.

Wisdom can often be found in the ramblings of a child. Take time to listen!

Visitors are like fish! After 3 days they stink.

You can not pick your family members! You can pic your friends and you can pick your nose but you can not pick your friends nose.

Getting all the answers is easy! Ask any 14 yr old! They tend to think they have all the answers.

A boss may never have the right answers, he may be totally ignorant to what is going on around him but he is still the boss!
