I just got back from a ride to the beach. Got inside, let the dogs out, and a minute later the sky opened up and it started pouring buckets. So I run to the back door to let the dogs in, and what do I notice?

There's my truck in the driveway, with all the windows still open. So I grabbed my keys and ran out and closed 'em. The seats should be dry in a couple of weeks.

That's why vehicles have floor pans. It gives the water some place to drain.

Now you see, that right there wouldn't happen down here. Too hot. Windows up, and AC running.

Well, yeah, but up here we don't have too many warm days left, so we may as well enjoy them now. B'sides, can't smell the salt air with them windows up, either.

Out of fairness, folks, this wasn't written for me - it was written to test Crash's reflexes.

Well,it's just gray and very humid here in metro-west.
I suspect it will start raining soon. The radar shows some pretty impressive bands moving in.

The third band passed here about 15 minutes ago. Each band has been more intense than the one before.

Ya see....I'd make a bad reporter. I'd be in a hotel room, with the camera looking out the window...reporting "It's raining and windy. What did you expect from a hurricane???" LOL

I thought you needed a Friday afternoon off so I mixed up my "stop the rain this very second" potion.
