Cold is okay if you stay busy and are dressed for it. I don't mind the cold very often. When I'm out and on the move I usually have my long johns and wool pants and shirt. I can go without my fleece, mittens, or balaclava at +1F or so but I have to keep moving to stay warm and I have to add my mittens and balaclava periodically. If the wind kicks up that changes everything.

Spring Time in Alaska.......Looking like the "HIGH" today will be -19 Below The low last night was -22 below, but it will be a bit cooler tonight. Had to dig out the double downlined flannel loincloth just to run to the mailbox.

Well, yes, when one ponders on it for a moment, that would be the nature of wind.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
