    Default My sheaths. pic heavy

Figured I'd show my sheaths to folks. I learned on my own and do it entirely different then anyone else I've seen.

I lived off making them for 2 yrs. back before I owned a digicam.

I'm out of leather at the moment , but, yeah, I do a little biddness from time to time.

reread my post #5.........please PM me with roughly what a sheath of the leather thickness and stitching like photo # 12 (The Black one with what looks like a pusher/dagger) would cost.......just roughly.

Very nice. I especially like the old time feel to your work. I have a knife that my great grand Dad made and has the same type of harness rivets on the corners like you use.

When you are stcked up on leather again, I have a project for you to look at.

I personally like the copper rivets at possible strain points for a long lasting, rough usage sheath.

I really like them all (I think everybody does) and they have given me some great ideas. Execution might take some time though.

My thought on that is that even if the stitching failed. The sheath would still do the job.

    I love those copper rivets.

    Thanks again everyone.
