    Default Five-fingers

    Has anyone tried these things?

    I wonder if they are any good for...well...anything.
    Silent stalking comes to mind.
    Or making cool footprints on the beach.

    I've never seen them.
    I thought this thread was going to be about "five finger discount" Then i would have some good personal input.

    Benesse brought these up a while back;

    She seems to like them, I just thought you would leave "Bigfoot tracks".

    Missed that. Thanks Hunter.
    I was considering them for the long beach walks I sometimes do when shore fishing. When I was a teen I used to wear leather sole mocs everywhere and loved the barefoot feel. Walter Dyer D-Ring mocs. Wish you could still get those.

    The only way I'd buy those for that price would be through a five finger discount.

    In other words I wouldn't buy them at any price. They look funny!

    They may look funny (caveman like) but they are incredibly comfortable. As long as you don't wear them out on a date or to "meet the parents" no one will care what they look like.
    Just make sure you get the right fit because each model has it's own screwed up sizing. I had to return a pair before I got the one that fit perfectly.

    I have them and I thoroughly enjoy mine. I like being barefoot anyways and these are just a plus. They have so many different models now that it's crazy.

    I ran for the first time in mine last week at Crossfit. We did a 1.5 mi run and about halfway through muscles in my shins, calves, and quads seized up. I was sore for about 3 days.

    But until that it was the smoothest running I have ever done.
