Default Increasing the Apparent Handle Length of a Small Knife

Keeping a small knife in your survival kit is a smart thing to do. But sometimes a small knife can be difficult to work with. This is especially true if you have large hands. Here's a simple and inexpensive way to increase the apparent length of the handle to make that knife a bit easier to work with.

    1. Run a piece of cord through the lanyard hole and tie a simple loop knot.

    2. Adjust the knot so it lays against the edge of your hand.

    3. That's it! When you close your hand the knot will lock in to the back of your little finger and provide you with more control over the knife and make it feel more comfortable while using it.

    Good tip, Thanks.
I like lanyards, anyway, seems I lose a lot of stuff unless I have one.

Which knife would be the best one to try this method with?

Not to picky myself as long as it has a good weight to it and it is made in the U.S.A.
Also I think it should have a built in compass and maybe a bottle opener.

I don't know what my opinion on this is but I have one, I am sure, and I will defend it to the death!

Someone state some facts so I can be against them!

By the way, what is the best knife to have during an EMP attack?
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
