That ain't a bad idea, rather nice. Maybe I should check my block and rebar supply and size up the back of the basement. Thanks for the idea and pics.

Try the Bass Pro Shop online site. But let me get this straight... you want a gun safe, a big gun safe to hold your penny collection, scarves you knitted, a stamp collection and some pins? Are you frig'n serious... LOL.... or did I miss something here.
    Beo,
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

    Beo,
Would I lie to someone across the river from KY? Guess I would. Anyhow I checked at Dick's and they wanted $250, thats two hundred and fifty dollars to deliver one 17miles!! Ain't NO way, will ask members of my knitting circle if they can help me. Oh, I can knit a nice kilt, bet the moths have got yours by now

Soothe your old conscience Coot, it's not really a lie to strech the truth some if they are across the Ohio River.

You could drive 100 moles and pick it up for less than $200!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Couldn't you just knit a net, equip it with a spring trigger, sorta like Indiana Jones only in your case it would be West Virginia Coot? Anyone tries to sneak in and get that Beretta, FLOING! all netted nice and simple. AND the old ladies would be quite impressed with the knitting. You might even talk them into hauling the desperado off for you giving you more time to enjoy a nice cool fruit jar of that famous WV water.

Wow! It comes with an eliminator. I'd kinda like to to just have that.

"Hey! You!" BZZZZZZZap. "You have been eliminated. Who's next?"

Careful with the stamps. I have baught a couple of collections where they just stuck the albums in there and never thought of the moisture that was trapped in there. I got great deals but had to work for the stamps. Buy the best dehumidifier you an get and follow the instruction to T and you wount have any problems. Under $800. really limits your choices for a fire rated safe. Good Luck

They really make a huge difference, before I put them in I had mildew growing on several of the stocks...umm, stamps but I have not had any issues sense have been in there.

I think I got mine through Cabela's but all kinds of places sell them.
