We finally got the samples. Stroganoff is So-So the cheesy lasagna is really good. The chicken A-la- king is also pretty good. Plan to talk to Tony on wensday to see about distributorship..

I agree with your assessment of the Stroganoff. We had some Teriyaki chicken and it was decent. I really want to try the Cheesy Mac and Cheesy lasagna to see how they are.

The cheesy lasagna was pretty bad in my book. I could eat it if I had to but really wouldn't want to. And I can eat anything. There was some off whang flavor that was kind of nasty. But, to be fair, that's kind of the nature of freeze dried foods. It's not mom's home cooking.

Let us know what comes of your conversation with Tony on Wednesday.

Guess I should kinda, sotra, agree about the lasagna. As lasanga goes its not so great BUT as a dehyd IMHO its one of the better ones. ( Not something I'd eat everyday) Also talked to Earl at the bunker he tried the chessy mac I think he said it was okay for a dehyd, but it also had a "bite" to it as well. But again as a dehyd. They aren't terrible. Plus on a per serving/pouch price they are at least 30% cheaper than mountian house so looks like we will be working with Tony at wise to sell them locally. Will post the outcome wensday.

At the moment through a local store, hopefully on-line sales at some point however for my friends here I can send info/product orders to you if it's not a forum violation.

It takes a bit for stuff to reach the border territory. Have you folks heard they landed a man on the moon?

Gosh, what will they think of next? On the moon did you say?

Did they use one the black whirlybirds I see flying around here at night?

I know they went there during the night as you can't see where the moon is during the day.

They fired something out of a cannon I think. Anyway, I understand they had some really good freeze dried food to eat on the journey.

I got my Stroganoff and it was a lot better with some hot sauce and Mrs. Dash. My husband and I agree camping, emergency, nothing else available this is not bad with some seasoning. I think they would good as additional item to have. If you had to pick up and leave they are a lot lighter than glass or cans. I told the gentleman that called me they should also sell water purifiers. I am going to have to think on these...

Follow me on this....if you have to conceal the taste with hot sauce....shouldn't you be looking for something that tastes better?

That would depend on what the chef looks like.
