    Default Rascally Rabbits!

I am watching the sun set last evening and holy cow! Rabbits come running to my garden from every direction! Must have been a dozen! They were undaunted by my charging and clapping. It ain't rabbit season but I need a game plan this evening!
Keep in mind the problem may be extremely complicated, though the "Fix" is often simple...

Oh my gosh. That's funny. I have this picture of you running around the garden chasing rabbits. Try sitting a plastic owl on a post. Just move it from time to time so they don't get used to it. You can spread used kitty litter near the garden (if you can stand the smell). Mothballs might also work. Just some thoughts.

Her name is little anne...I have my old male beagle still too...last time I tried putting him on a rabbit I got him about 3 ft. from the rabbit and the rabbit just hopped off...he was oblivious to it!

I can easily shoot'em with a firearm. I will hunt them in season though. If I shot one now it would be of no use to me. Disregarding the legalities of it, you still have the fact that it is long after freezing and rabbits carry Bubonic Plaque. I am an ethical hunter and sportsman, my conscience won't let me do it. I'll fence it in...already have the fence. It is however in season to run rabbits with dogs. So it is on! I am also considering a live trap I have. It is sized for squirrels but these were juvenile rabbits.

Just be careful. Those things breed like rabbits.
