Default Wow....A Commercial Made me cry....Yes, it is about SURVIVAL

It was a Commercial about wearing your seatbelt, was made for UK. Maybe Winnie can find it, it was very moving. Someone might search "SSRP" Sorry not more computer smart. It really was a great commercial. My sister sent it in an E-Mail titled "Embrace Life-Always wear you seatbelt". I think it may also be on You Tube Thingie.

Justin Case posted it earlier in response to Cowboy's truck accident where he was not wearing a seat belt. I'll try to find it.

And...Cowboy just watched it and it was finally something compelling enough to get my attention. Set in my ways I guess. Time to go give my daughter a hug. Thank you all.

Well I don't want the Government forcing me to do what they think is right for me. Before you know it, they'll penalize you if you're not eating the right food or drinking the right beverages just because they deem they're healthier for you.

I agree with you! I have used a seat belt for as long as I can remember, even before it was law but it still gets me mad that they can write me a ticket for not wearing it! What is even more strange is that in Maine, I have to wear a seat belt in my truck but can ride a motorcycle without a helmet...go figure!

I wouldn't be surprised if they got you off the plane just for smoking in the bathroom.

You just wait. The next law will be driving and texting and talking. Sometimes the government HAS to intervene because some folks aren't smart enough to do it on their own. It's quite simple, really.

Momentum = mass X speed. If you weigh 100 pounds traveling a 60 miles an hour your body has a momentum of, in this case, 6000 pounds slamming into whatever happens to be in front of you. You'll be going from 60 to 0 in about 1 second. That's the FIRST impact. The second impact is when your brain slams forward and impacts on the front of your skull or the top of your skull if you were airborne and landed on the top of your head.

Oh, you mean like when someone weighs in at 350lbs, smokes, and continues to eat crap that's making him at high risk for everything?

Maybe the gov't should back off, and let evolution take it's course. Mother nature is smarter than any politician I've ever seen.

Do I need to re-post the Buffalo Theory?

Yes but If I am distracted while driving I am a danger to others. If I am not wearing a seat belt, I am only a danger to myself.

    Indiana is the same way.
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

True as long as you don't come flying through my windshield. But how about your little ones? If you loose control of your vehicle because you're bouncing around inside (uh, been there done that, thank you) you could be harming them. And if you don't buckle them up and you're in a wreck then you did endanger someone else.
