    Some great pictures. Thanks for sharing them.

    Here's some information on your first headstone for Helmer Kent.

    “Father’s name was Helmer KENT. He was taller than your Uncle William, his hair was light and his eyes were blue. He was an ambitious man, full of energy, a blacksmith by trade. He had very little education although his stepfather was a school teacher. I suppose that he went to school when he was a small boy and I have heard him say that he went part of two terms after that. But he kept his accounts and, though they might not have been kept after the manner of the accountants of today, I never heard of errors.”

    “Father’s people came from Holland but it is supposed that his ancestors had gone there from England during the religious persecutions as Kent is an English name. His [Helmer A. KENT’s] mother spoke English with difficulty for she had been used to the Dutch language.”

    Helmer KENT [1786-1858]

    That's some beautiful country up there.
    A lot of people don't know dirt roads really exist. something of fairy tale in some places.
    The only thing better than that view, is that view in person. Thanks mj!
    Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. Helen Keller

    Thanks YCC.;
    I grew up on a dirt road. Just seams normal.
    And, i recived the soap and hoofs today. Thank you!
    Any instruction on the hoofs would be apriciated.
    its weird but I feel even more energy in those hoofs then in the hide. I held them and then had to let go. i felt a lot of power there.
    its getting close to time to geting back to the mocks..
    it may sound weird but i need to be in the right frame of mind to work on them. I'm finding i cant force it.
