It's on its way to Wildgoth as of Jan 18. I couldn't make it to the PO so I sent a friend on a town run so I'll check with him to see if he didn't accidentally leave it in his trunk.

Wildgoth has it. Confirmed. Who wants it next?

I think this is a list of those that signed up for it. Have they all had it yet?

I shot an email to Beo. We'll see what he says.

    Cool I'm up for it!

I haven't received it yet so "whenever". When all this started I'd PM'd Owl Girl to do the drawing and she had agreed so whenever we get it all done we can find out who gets to keep it.

I shot a PM to Wildgoth and asked him to PM you, Sarge for your address. There's no reason he can't send it to you and get it moving again. Beo may not respond for a couple of days if he's still in training.

Hi guys, just got back. I'm waiting on Wild Goth to send me the knife as it still hasn't arrived.

Sarge - in one of the other pass around knife threads Beo was asking that you pm him so he can send you the new one that he's started.

Okay, folks. Here's the status on the first pass around knife. It pains me to post this but after MULTIPLE PMs and unkept promises it's time to set the record straight.

Wildgoth was sent the 1st Pass Around Knife on January 18 of this year. In June, I began asking him to contact Sarge for his address and send the knife on to him. He promised he would send the knife to Sarge the week of June 22nd but still no knife. And the last time he logged on to the forum was June 27. So it looks like the we've lost the 1st knife to Wildgoth who obviously needed it much worse than anyone else.

Please make certain he is excluded from receiving the second knife and any future pass around tools. If you can't be trusted you don't need to participate!

I think this is the original thread with everyone's mods:

Here's another link on that type of knife:

I made a custom sheath for the knife that included a burnt tin that was used to keep the fire making stuff inside.

The gent before me had already included the fire making, fishing, first aid, and snares that are housed in the burnt Altoids tin. The tin, slid between two stitched layers in the sheath and the rubber bands (black bands) were used to secure and also attach the knife to spears.

    Here is a pic.

    Thanks.

I wrapped the handle, I think the gent after me did something different. There was another mess of rope that was shoved in the hollow handle.

The gent before me supplied all the rope.

Nice job, how did it throw with a hollow handle?

I threw it just fine. But then, I've been throwing for what seems forever.

If you did not know what you were doing, you could easily bend the knife where the blade meets the handle.

Here is my third throw. Guess, it's about 6yds or 18 feet.
