Congratulations!!!! In my book, that's what it's all about. Lot's of love, good basic values, lead by example and keep your fingers crossed. I'm glad mom and son are both fine.

Congratulations! We need to get some survival info on how to care for infants and children in the wilderness. Want to see all the little ones grow big and strong.

Thanks everyone. We've been up for 36 hours and man is it killer. I haven't eaten since noon yesterday so I better get some chow down me and try to get a power nap in. Just having a baby is a survival situation in itself.

A question for you Doug. Does Mrs. Doug agree with your assessment that 12 hours of labor was "fairly smooth"?

lol not the first 8 I assure you. But after the drugs kicked in it was smooth sailing. She hung in there like a champ. I am so proud of her, she kept her composure very well. Guess Basic Training was good for something.

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

    Congratulations!
