Hey all,

Let me just start off by saying I am a thirty something year old newb . I used to camp, hike and small game hunt in my teens and early twenties but it has been about 12 years since my last camping trip. I am in CO so most of my interest will be geared towards survival/camping/hiking in the Rocky Mtns and similar type terrain/climate. I sit behind a computer all day and when the weather is nice and I want to do something I tend to either get on the Harley or golf but decided it is time to add a third option into the mix and that is why I am here. Anyway just wanted to say hello and I look forward to chatting with you all.

Howdy, I think you might even be able to incorporate camping, in with riding your Harley. If you have a trailer you might even be able to incorporate all of them together! The State park near my town has Campgrounds and a Golf course,with some scenic roads all around. Could be a way to combine all your interests......... Imagine an early morning round of Golf, followed by lunch at camp, and then a scenic "Joyride" and a relaxing evening in camp with a nice meal cooked over an open fire!!(Steaks over hickory of course)

Poco, unfortunately my bike is not setup for carrying clubs but the bike camping definitely sounds like it could be a blast. +1 on the steak, you can't beat a good piece of meat cooked over an open fire.

+1 on the camera. I always have it with me on any trip outside my immediate area. It is kind of old and cheap but it does just fine, for now, for posting on forums and such.
