Well, there is a point to that. I don't even belong to the NRA and I've been a gun man all my life.

My bro-in-law who doesn't own a gun - still believes in the right to own one, so he joined - and gives me all the magazines because he doesn't know what they're talking about.

Too much of a loner, I guess.

Exclamation Sierra Club -- Liberal fanatics!!

Sierra club is right up there with P.E.T.A., F.F.A. (fund for animals), A.R.L. (animal rights league), H.S.U.S. (humane society of the U.S.), greenpeace, and all the other zealot activist groups of the same ilk. These groups are are fanatical left-wing, anti-hunting, liberal do anything to achieve there goal organizations. About 10 or so years ago a couple of Sierra Club's hierarchy were involved in blowing up a testing lab that killed approx. a dozen animals (one of the things that they vow to protect). When they were caught there claimed for the attack was; "we would rather see the animals dead than used for testing". HUH??

If you were really a champion for and protector of animals, why wouldn't you simply break in to the lab and take the animals, as opposed to killing them? That's counter-productive to your cause. . .don't you think? And don't let them fool you, their outward agenda looks and sounds good, it's their hidden agenda that's scary as h*ll!!

I have had to deal with these different groups throughout my life. As a life member of the NRA, SCI, OWAA, and as a former professional hunter/trapper/guide. I had dealings with members of each of these groups on different occasions. Can you say "N-U-T J-O-B-S"?! They definitely are. . .1000%

I would rather stand for what I believe alone, than stand for with a group like sierra club, or others like them. That is an affiliation I would not want!!

Everything I have posted is pure fantasy. I have not done any of the things that I have claimed to have done in my posts. I actually live in Detroit.

That was perfect, I didn't want to come off quite this heavy since I just started a short time ago

But this is exactly on the mark and your right, it is a very scary thing indeed...

some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

    Question P.E.T.A. Wisdom.

Awhile back, P.E.T.A. decided to try and save some deer during the hunting season in some state, not sure which. They put Blaze Orange blankets over the deer to warn the hunters off. This made the deer very easy-to-spot targets and 99 of them were taken by grateful hunters; the last one was killed when hit by a car. Go figure. Rumor has it that the same organization has been flooded with calls from hunters in other states asking them to start a "Save The Deer" program in their state so they can find their deer easier too.

i'm an earth firster, so for me the sierra club represents the mellow end of wilderness conservation. i respect thier goals and applaud thier youth envolvment but that is about it. as i get a little older i come to think i'm either going to have to mellow out in my views or step them up a notch. i'm not sure which.

Assassin Pilot read post #24. They are NOT an organization to be grateful of an association with.
