Sad stuff. If nothing else, I'm pretty sure (not Christian, just read the book a few times) that old JC spent rather a lot of time explaining why it's a bad idea to wander around slagging off at people.

They sound fairly imbalanced, it would be poetic if one (or all ) of their kids turned out to be queer but on the other hand, I don't think I'd wish being say a 14 year old gay kid growing up under that little regime on anyone... could get very nasty. Ritual beating to expel the demons, anyone?

If they knew a little more about certain cultural practices held dear by mountain 'ghanis, to do with young boys and a lot of makeup, perhaps they'd be willing to play a little game of odds? After all, a gay soldier brassing up a boy-fiddling mountain man (with one of those funny religions, no less) surely has to be more worthy

The mind boggles. Surely people can find better things to do with their time?

Where I live, free speech is not a constitutional right... it is howoever taken to be common sense. You also have to accept that whilst you have the right to express yourself however you wish, someone else also probably has the right to reply, or in extreme cases issue a mild attitude adjustment
my sense of self approval is bigger than yours. and I chose to be born in the most stupid country ever.

I can't see why everyone is so worked up over a non-issue.
If there is freedom of speech and expression and religion,
why not let demonstrators do their thing?
And who say the all serviceman/woman are 'brave'?

I think you do this on purpose just to see how much static you can cause. That was really a pretty sad commentary. Even on the pretext of trying to stir something up you have actually surpassed many of your earlier comments.

What Rick said. Anyone who is prepared to take the Queens Shilling(in my country anyway) is, in my mind deserving of the term brave.

Fred Phelps and his family. The Westboro Baptist Church out of Topeka Kansas. They are the reason the Patriot Riders were founded. Google some of the stuff they've doen. Tyra Banks had them on her show, I thought Tyra was going to choke them out right on the set, lol. There's another comedian who 'interviews' them, and acts like he's gay with Fred Phelps, it is hilarious. Yuo can just watch his face lose color, as the 'reporter' tells him how good looking he is.

If you check his Reputation It says, "Stony is an UNKNOWN quantity at this point". That is funny.

Stony has decided to not heed prior warnings. He is now going to take a ten day break from the forum.

This is my first time giving a negative rep. I do it not in an attempt to stifle anyones right to free speech, only out of disgust for what he is and has said.

    Well said, Pal.
Freedom of speech does not repeal common decency, and freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences.

    No...seriously, I'm asking here...anyone? anything? no?

    thats what I thought.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly. I don't like laws that make saying an offensive word during an altercation a hate crime. But, I don't have a problem with a black guy who some dumb a$$ calls the N word whooping the snot out of him either.

Course if a crime is committed by either party then they have those consequences.

I don't get the level of dis-compassion that this church displays at all. If they think America is so bad why don't we donate some tickets anyplace else they would like to be in the world.

Thanks for the info. Pal. I just heard of a protest while having a funeral here in my area and I had no idea that it was going on elsewhere. I see it to be the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of.
