    Default Strange Survival Food

    http://www.foodreserves.com/survival-kit.html

There called Survival Tabs if i am reading it right, the look like large vitamin tablets to me and not of much use in the bush, They say you should take around 12 a day, BUT.... It costs $24.75 i beleve for one bottle which supposedly is 15 days of food.

Have any of you ever heard of things like this, the look rubbish to me to be frank but maby im just a bit carefull with what i chose to go into the bush with.

You know, Smok, I googled those things and every site seems to use a similar write up. I don't know that it's JUST sea survival kits. I did find one site that talked about eating the pills to loose weight. You use 5-6 tablets in place of your dinner meal.

I suppose the theory is you could take them into the wilderness and survive on them. You could...I wouldn't.

Actually, I always keep potted meat, canned raviolli, vienna sausages, and hardtack in my pack at all times.

nice. potted meat, though dubious in origin, is loaded with fat and protein. it's also got a lot of salt in it, so it's not the best idea if you are rationing water. vienna sausages are problably similar, except that they don't seem to have so much salt. summer sausage\peperoni is also a great one, plus you can use it in a pinch as a fire starting material
